Dear Friends:

No one can deny that the last year was one of the most fiscally challenging in recent memory, and like most nonprofits, Northwest Children’s Fund felt the pinch. Happily, our financial results for the year ending July 31, 2009, reflect two significant accomplishments:

• Thanks to your compassion and generosity, NWCF was able to distribute over $725,000 in grants to powerful programs for at-risk children and families in need, at a time when such support was both crucial and life-changing;
• Because our Board members and corporate sponsors covered all of NWCF’s operating expenses, every dollar contributed by individual donors went directly to grants.
