Dear Friends:

On behalf of the children and families whose lives you've changed, thank you for your commitment to Northwest Children’s Fund. Once again last year, we were able to distribute more dollars than ever to agencies on the front lines of our collective fight to give our community’s most vulnerable children the security and hope that they deserve.

During the 2006-2007 fiscal year, your compassionate generosity, combined with NWCF’s model of effective and involved grantmaking, enabled us to:

• Distribute over $850,000 in grants to 65 powerful and deserving programs for at-risk children and families.
• Raise an unprecedented $478,000 through our Annual Giving Campaign, and net a record-breaking $378,000 at our dinner auction.
• Pass 100% of donor dollars directly to grants by having Board members and corporate sponsors cover all of NWCF’s operating expenses.

NWCF’s 23rd year is off to a roaring start, having kicked off with a delightful day of sun and fun at the 2007 Northwest Children’s Fund Golf Classic, presented by F5 Networks and hosted by Jeff Nelson. Our Board members are now gearing up for another intensive and strategic grant review cycle, even as they begin planning next spring’s delightful auction gala.
