25th Gala: Thanks to you, our recent Silver Anniversary Gala was the most successful celebration in Northwest Children's Fund's 25-year history. The event raised $575,000 making it possible to surpass the $10 million mark for grants invested in children over the past quarter century.
What an impact you've helped us make on young lives!
On behalf of every child whose life your generosity has touched, we thank you.
Guests were inspired by the words of our courageous young speaker (pictured at left) who told the crowd, "Thank you for having the back of Northwest Children's Fund and kids like me." (To watch a video of her moving remarks, click here.)
The support of our Gala is a vivid illustration of the passion you have for carrying on NWCF's work in the future. We are deeply grateful for your commitment and investment!
25th Anniversary Forum: Our Annual Forum, held on January 30, included speakers from Childhaven, Jumping Mouse Children's Center, and YouthCare.
The three organizations shared their struggles and successes with the group.
The emotionally charged discussion that ensued was an inspiring reminder of the perseverance, dedication, and
collaboration it takes to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect-and the lasting, healing impact we can have on
children when we take the time to acknowledge their achievements and show we care.

Northwest Children's Fund Golf Classic: Hosted by Jeff Nelson and other local celebrities on one of the region’s most popular courses.
Thank you to Jeff, our sponsors, and everyone who participated. We look forward to next year's event.
The next successful NWCF event could be yours!
Just because an event isn’t on our calendar doesn’t mean it can’t exist. Get creative, and do a little fundraising on your own. It’s a great way to share your passion for NWCF with others. Here are some ideas:
-
Host a movie night. Charge your friends for movie tickets, popcorn and Jujubes, and all the proceeds go to NWCF.
-
Silent Auction. At your next bookclub gathering or community meeting, have everyone bring a little something for an impromptu silent auction. A pair of earrings. A potted plant. Mariners tickets. Once the bidding’s done, all the proceeds go to NWCF.
-
Tap into kid energy. Organize a fun run for neighborhood families. Hand out fundraising forms and let the kids and parents compete to see who can raise more money for NWCF.
Have other fun fund-raising ideas? We’d love to hear them.
