Northwest Children's Fund requires prospective applicants to submit five hard copies and one electronic copy of a Letter of Inquiry. The Letter of Inquiry should be no more than two single-spaced pages in at least 12-point font, and include the following information:

Name of Agency and its year of incorporation

Executive Director and other Contact Person, if any

Contact Information (phone, address, email)

Website Address, if any

Statement of Agency’s Mission

If the grant request is for General Operating Support, state the agency’s target clients and number served, and the agency budget

If the grant request is for a Specific Program or Need, identify the program and state the program’s target clients and number served, and the program budget

Amount of anticipated Grant Request

A description of your proposed use of grant funds, how the use will further NWCF’s mission, the intended outcomes of your work, and how you evaluate those outcomes

A single annual report or brochure may be included, if you desire.

NWCF will review all the Letters of Inquiry and select the agencies that it will invite to submit a complete application. Only the selected agencies will participate in the full application and review process.
